BAKEY WEDNESDAY - MADEIRA CAKE

I love baking and I usually have a little tradition of choosing a recipe from the weeks bake off and challenging myself to make it. Unfortunately due to the lack of time and lots of work going on I haven't been able to squeeze anything in. Until this week!

So finally, I present to you, my first creation - Madeira Cake.

HOLIDAY PREP - BOOTS HAUL

We are approaching the single figure countdown...but for now I just wanted to run through my holiday essentials and today's Boots haul.

As you can see I bought a hefty amount (as well as an additional deodorant and 2 more packs of face wipes not pictured!) It totaled at £52.40 and I actually saved a whopping £14 through offers - I will add that this wasn't actually on purpose. I also chucked in some wet wipes because you never know when your going to need them!

YANKEE CANDLE - NEW ADDITIONS

After I got some lovely votive candles for my birthday - Shea Butter and Lovely Kiku - I was on the hunt for something nice to put them in to go with my bedroom.

After mooching through every shop in Sheffield that sells decorative and shabby accessories as well as every Yankee Candle store we found a choice of holders.

MINI LUSH TRIP - CREAMY CANDY AND INTERGALACTIC

After a random Saturday trip to Meadowhall to get some little bits for holiday how could we not take a teeny look in Lush.

As we hadn't been in Lush since before the Oxford St exclusives were shipped out it was nice to have a look around at all the new products.

HOLIDAY PREP - 3 WEEKS AND COUNTING

FINALLY! I am on holiday countdown!

We booked our first holiday abroad during the first week of January. It has been the longest 9 months of my life but it is finally here!

REVIEW - DERMATIQUE RECUPERATING CREAM

I'm always out to try new products so when I seen this one I was interested to see what it was all about.

As I've mentioned in previous posts, my skin is ridiculously sensitive.
I've suffered with psoriasis since I was about 10 years old - sometimes more than others.
It flares up all over my body - my face, my neck, my stomach and even occasionally my bum cheek!
My triggers are usually stress and sudden changes in temperature and I have been using the same prescription for around 12 years.

There's nothing I love more than a nice night in front of the TV!
Whether it's watching a film or binge watching on Netflix's it is my perfect lazy activity.
So when I see that some of my favorite shows are on the same night I dig out the Haribo and settle on down!

ANXIETY & DEPRESSION - GETTING THROUGH THE DAY

Today we took a trip to Lush and after smelling and trying EVERYTHING in the store. This is what we came out with.

SUNDAY SHOPATHON - MEADOWHALL

When the boyfriend and I first moved up to Sheffield we tried to make it a little tradition that the weekend of payday we would take a trip to Meadowhall, have a mooch and stock up on Lush products for the month.

Due to paying for holidays and general life we haven't done this for quite a few months.

So we decided to change that.

I set myself a budget and headed out (which I completely blown. No more treats - or food - this month!)
