WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS...

I'm a little late to the party on the "what I got for Christmas" front but better late than never!
I just had so many lovely things I couldn't put it ALL into a post and I felt a little mean choosing some presents but not others. But after reading everyone else's it got me so excited...I've changed my mind!

So these are a few of the highlights from my MASSIVE Christmas stocking!

THE BEST AND THE WORST 2015

I can't believe we are at the end of 2015! - My little blog is only 6 months old and still slowly growing. Over this time I've had some fab opportunities and tested out some great products. I've also discovered lots of new products that I've fallen in love with.

As we get ready to raise a glass and enter 2016 I thought I would take this opportunity to let you all know my favourite products and pieces from this year - and some that won't be coming into the new year with me!

THATS A WRAP! VISIT TO TORTILLA NOTTINGHAM

After my one whole day of doing absolutely nothing we had to continue with the tour of family members. We quickly ventured into Victoria centre in Nottingham and they've finally finished all the refurb work!

We searched around the various sales and as our stomachs started to rumble we stumbled across the new eatery's that have opened! First we saw Ed's Diner - which seems to be a staple of every massive shopping establishment - then a new place called Joe's Kitchen. We eventually strolled downstairs after a slightly heated debate about lunch - do all couples have these arguments about lunch? - and came across a little shop front called Tortilla.

This little chain of restaurants was created by Brandon and Jen, a Californian couple who just couldn't find a decent place to have burritos in London! They definitely wouldn't have that trouble now as they have 19 in London alone!

SUNDAY CATCH UP #3: WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It's the last Sunday of 2015! How is that even possible!

After a busy couple of days we are finally having a chilled day - watching Jurassic Park and eating gingerbread for breakfast! So I thought I would team up my last Sunday catch up with a quick Christmas catch up! AND it's my first post with my NEW design - so let me know what you think!

A BIG FAT MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE EVERYBODY!

As you can see I've been slacking a little on posts and I just wanted to let everyone know why.

#BLOGMAS: MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM PRAIRIE CHARMS

I've seen a lot of bloggers who highly rate Prairie Charms, a brand that sells eclectic handmade accessories. They also donate 10% of their profits to Great Ormands Street Hospital - which is a charity close to my heart - which just adds to their lovely-ness.

I first found their brand in the summer and fell in love with their festival flower headbands and since have purchased one of their wrap headbands - Ophelia Head Wrap.

They ran a blogger offer on their #stockingstuffer budles and for small price of £5 not only did we get a package full of goodies we gained some raffle type codes to be entered into a draw for a cracking Christmas hamper - wish me luck! :)

#BLOGMAS: PERFECT GIFTS FOR UNDER £20

As I've gotten older I've realised when it comes to that big Christmas question that everyone asks nothing ever springs to minds - and that question is "what do you want this Christmas?"

I mean I've got a massive list of things I want from a new hoover to a boob reduction but most of the things on my list are ridiculously priced and I definitely can't expect Nanny Pat to be shelling out that sort of cash - Side note: Nanny Pat is a fictional character but you get the jist.

So after a lot of thought I've put together a few treats for Christmas just in case your running out of ideas and are a bit skint but still want to buy more than a packet of biscuits - yes, I have done this on a fair few occasions when jobless!

SUNDAY CATCH UP #2: LUSH, IKEA AND A BIG FAT CHILL OUT

Evening guys! I know it's my second post of the day but I couldn't resist a little ramble about my week!

It's that time of the week we all dread when Sunday starts to feel less like the weekend and more like a Monday morning.

It's also the time of the week where I like to have a little catch up of whats been going on this week. As I have a full time job weekdays are usually pretty dull and boring so I tend to skip these but this week I did something fabulous - and on a school night!

#BLOGMAS: A VERY MERRY LUSH EVENT

On Thursday I had the pleasure of being invited to an exclusive event at Lush in Sheffield to take a look around their shop and get a real personalised experience - which as anyone who has been into Lush knows, it is a little difficult to do this during the day!

I was ridiculously excited - I couldn't actually contain myself which was slightly embarrassing as I don't think I stopped smiling or talking for the whole 2 hours! - and when we arrived it was like walking into heaven! No exaggeration! We were fully pampered and went home with the best goody bag ever!

#BLOGMAS: MY LITTLE GINGERBREAD MEN

On the 3rd day of Christmas...I decided to attempt to make gingerbread men!

I've never tried to make gingerbread before and I usually cheat and buy the ready made gingerbread houses but this year we bought a fairytale cottage mould from Lakeland and some gingerbread man cutters and stamps. As I wanted to make some for Christmas day for the kiddy winks in the family I thought I would do a test run - and its a good job I did too, gingerbread is hard!

#BLOGMAS: THE CHRISTMAS TAG

MERRY BLOGMAS EVERYONE!

Christmas is my favourite time of year - call me cliche but it always has been!

It's December 2nd and just to get us into the festive spirit I thought I would spread some Christmas cheer - in the shape of a fun little Christmas tag!

#BLOGMAS: A GIFT GUIDE FOR MAKE UP BRUSHES

Let's face it. Every girl is a sucker for that soft stroke....of new make up brushes!

This is why we have so many! Also partly because it means we can get away with cleaning our brushes less often.

Last night, Kieran and I were mooching through gift guides together because although big presents are easy it's the little stocking fillers that he struggles with. I started reeling off brands and shades and his face started to go a little bit pale, so I tried to think of something stress free but still something that would be handy - and then it clicked, make up brushes!

ON THE FIRST DAY OF #BLOGMAS...

HELLO DECEMBER! We can now officially go Christmas crazy without anyone saying anything!

Unfortunately I can't participate in blogmas properly as with a full time job and a demanding boyfriend and puppy a post a day just doesn't seem realistic. Instead there will be a blogmas related post once/twice a week.

So on with today's post - Even though we put the tree up last Friday I thought I would make my first post of #BLOGMAS about my Christmas prep!
