Thanks to Google for the image - Current mood!
As you may of noticed I've been a little bit quiet this past week - last weekend we received a little bit of crappy news, we have been asked to leave our house.
Kieran and I were laid in bed making plans about saving for our first ACTUAL house together when a letter from our estate agents landed on the doorstep completely out of the blue. We have until the end of March to pack away our things and find somewhere new to live. So now we have to spend almost £2000 to find a new place to rent so we can then save for a place of our own.
This past week we have been contacting thousands of agents - one of which had a TERRIBLE attitude and refused to let us have a viewing unless we agreed to move before the end of February - and out of all of these houses we have 2 houses booked in for Saturday.
We've been struggling as to a landlord we couldn't be more undesirable. A lot of "nice places" don't allow pets. A lot of places with gardens don't allow pets. Most of the houses that actually do show as "pets negotiable" generally have paisley carpet and green bathroom suites which isn't really what I'm looking for - honestly, it frustrates me that people are allowed to rent houses that look like this!!
Fingers crossed this weekend will hold some positives and we will come away with a hope of having somewhere to move - until then my blog may be a little bit neglected. I've got thousands of posts lined up but I'm struggling to keep it together at the minute so stick with me. Anxiety and looming homeless-ness doesn't bode-well!
I will make sure to keep you guys posted - we are in for a long and stressful month! Keep tuned and in the meantime catch up with my posts!
Ugh! I'm sorry to hear that your landlord is a pain. I think it comes with most rented properties. I know the feeling all too well! I know it sounds cheeky but I'd be tempted to not mention the dog and see what happens, as long as it's quiet and they don't do checks. I hope it all works out for you!

My new landlady seems lovely - fingers crossed anyway! I've thought about that before but my boyfriend is far too honest and wouldn't let me! Our new landlady met our pooch beforehand and she loves him but hopefully he doesn't eat the kitchen or anything!
