Morning campers! For those of you that don't know me - I love dogs! Big, small, fluffy, hairless, any pooch that crossed my path gets inundated with snuggles and fuss. Kieran actually bows his head in embarrassment when I walk past a dog saying hello in a baby voice and completely ignore the owners. However I've never really introduced Archie formally. I found this little tag a while back on Amber Louise's blog and thought it was a little bit of fun...and an excuse to shower love on my little pudding - especially as his days as our only baby are slowly coming to the end.

REASONS I FAIL AS A BEAUTY BLOGGER

Morning campers! Don't you just love beauty bloggers! They are so glamorous! Their Instagram's are perfectly themed, their make up is enviable and I bet they even have a hoard of birds that come in every morning to dress them whilst they chirp a catchy theme tune. Just kidding! But still there is a stereotypical template for beauty bloggers, one of which I definitely do not fit into! So here is - a slightly tongue in cheek! - list of why I completely fail as a beauty blogger!

MONTHLY CATCH UP: JULY

Morning campers! After months of being stuck in my little blog rut I have finally got out of my funk! Mainly due to the fact that I've finally gone out and bought myself a massive sheet of card to use for flat lays - AHH! My mind is at ease! So I thought we should really have a little bit of a catch up. July has been a crazy ass month!

BEAUTY, BAKING AND...BABY!?

My god its been a while! *dusts off cobwebs from keyboard!* It's been a fair few months since I've blogged about anything at all - what with being a little bit crazy and everything - but things have started to get better. I've got a lovely new job, a lovely clean house and also....A BLOODY BABY ON THE WAY!

LIFE LATELY

Afternoon campers! You may of noticed that recently I've taken a little break from blogging - ok it's been a month but who's counting really! It been a hectic few weeks what with being back at work, getting to grips with my new job and generally trying to battle through my poorlyness. So lets have a brew and a little catch up shall we!

ROAD TO RECOVERY: WEEK 2

Well hasn't this week just been cracking! I left my last post on a positive note, smiling through the discomfort. I can safely say the good feeling has now disappeared and has been replaced with grumpiness and tiredness. YAY!

ROAD TO RECOVERY: WEEK 1

After reaching a pretty low point in my illness I decided to record my attempt at recovery - you can read my first post here if you missed it. It may not be exciting but this is just for me. This is my corner of the Internet and my rules. Last week I started my medication and my first week of being signed off from work. I've tried to be as honest as possible...you never know there might be someone reading that feels the same and my posts might actually make a difference.

ROAD TO RECOVERY: GETTING A HANDLE ON MY ILLNESS

I'll just jump in and say I've been having a tough time lately with my anxiety and depression. I've suffered on and off for 8 years with this illness and after thinking I had finally gained control it reared its ugly head and came back bigger and badder. My illness was basically A! I'm surprised it doesn't text me saying "kisses D&A" after every down day. After a few months of wallowing - ok, 6 months but who's counting...- I've decided enough is enough and have decided to do something about it. I also wanted to record it all, so I can look back and see how far I've come. This may not be everyone's cup of tea and it's not going to be all sweetness and light but you never know...it might help someone else too.

HOW TO KEEP YOUR SANITY WHEN MOVING HOUSE!

We did it! I feel physically knackered and like I've done 1000 squats but we have officially moved! I've moved house a fair few times in the last few years but for some reason you always seem to forget how stressful and generally shit the weeks/days leading up to the big day are! You are also completely unaware of how much of a hoarder you are!

LIFE UPDATE: WHERE'S JUICYYYJESSS?

So recently you may of read I've had a bit of a crap month - and its only the second week of Feb! During the middle of January we received notice to ship out of our current house and find somewhere else before the end of March. I've also had a cracking bout of flu which has knocked me off my feet for a good week and half! Nevertheless, the end is near!

As you may of noticed I've been a little bit quiet this past week - last weekend we received a little bit of crappy news, we have been asked to leave our house.

It seems that you can buy just about anything online now days and even get it delivered the next day! If you fancy a cake, just order it. In some city's you can even have booze dropped off at your door. But something that sits closely to my heart is tea! And Teapigs cater for all your tea related needs!

When I first started this blog just under 6 months ago I just wanted to jabber on about various bits and bobs in life that were just too long/complicated/not universally acceptable on Facebook - Not a lot has changed really (ha!) except for the amount of followers on Twitter. 

This week I reached 500 followers on Twitter and I was pretty damn chuffed with myself!
