THE AUTUMN TAG - HAPPY BLOGTOBER!

Getting back into the swing of things after a little hiatus from blogging. I thought I would add a little tag post in.
Behold, my love of Autumn!
Borrowed from Laura Hadley (@LauraHadleyx)

What's your favourite seasonal drink?
I'm pretty boring when it comes to festive drinks. I don't like anything involving spiced pumpkin or cinnamon or the latter. A large, sweet English Breakfast tea is perfectly fine by me. Although I was on the way to a meeting in Leeds last week and nipped into Starbucks to get a tea and a brownie - I got VERY excited when I got an autumn style cup! And may I also add, Starbucks tea bags are fascinating!

Accessories - what do you opt for, scarves, boots or gloves?
Am I aloud all three? It's cold you know! I'm quite unfashionable when it comes to my feet during winter, for special occasions and outings I put on some ankle boots but day to day going's on I am a slave to the Ugg boot. Say what you want but they are the coziest, comfiest things I have ever worn. From September through to March I live in my Uggs. On the odd occasion I will dig out my Hunter wellies.
I also have a big red tartan scarf and some thermal gloves that I bought for our trip to London last New Year.

Music - what's your favourite music to listen to?
Is there such thing as Autumn music? If not, I am currently loving Catfish & the Bottlemen. I occasionally stray away from my usual Electric Dance noise when I really like a band and these are my new fave.

Perfume - what's your favourite scent for this time of year?
I'm very stuck in my ways - as you may of guessed - and I don't really change throughout the year. I am currently wearing Vera Wang - Hippie Princess which I bought back from holiday. I love sweet, candy flossy smells.

Candles - what scents will you be burning this season?
I have an obsession with the Christmas cookie Yankee Candle. Unfortunately my other half knocked it off the bookcase and it has been broken up and used as tarts for my burner. We also still have half of a Celebrate Christmas left from last year. I've also got my eye on Fireside Treats as who can resist a bit of marshmallow.

What do you love most about Autumn?
The leaves. Is that cheesy? I find something oddly relaxing and calming to just walk through a wood with orange leaves everywhere. It also means that the local fair turns up left, right and centre and I love a good go on the waltzers!

Favourite makeup looks?
I'm really liking purple shades at the minute and you can't go wrong with a red lip. I'm not the biggest fan of dark lips - hold your fire ladies! - As beautiful as some girls look with it, I am not one of them and I think some trends should be left in the 90's.

What are you looking forward to most in Autumn?
I'm really looking forward to my first bonfire night in quite a few years. I just love the atmosphere and the smell of fire and hotdogs - weird huh? I'm also looking forward to layers and cosy jumpers which have already made an appearance.

What are your Autumn tags!
Copy, paste and let me know :)

  3. Autumn is my favourite season because of all of the holidays it brings. My favourite part is going for long nature walks to watch all the leaves change colour. Makes me remember to slow down and take a breathier every once in awhile :)
