#FRIENDSFEST AT HAREWOOD HOUSE

OH.MY.GOD! Yes, you read right! Last week I attended FRIENDSFEST with my ultimate bestie Donna! For those of you unaware - or that don't watch Friends repeats on Comedy Central - this is a festival style event dedicated to all things F.R.I.E.N.D.S. If you have no idea what Friends is...get out, now, I'm being serious. What have you done with your life! So I present to you a quick run through of our time last week - please excuse the chunkiness! My bump hasn't appeared yet so I still look like I've eaten a few too many pizzas! I promise, there is a baby in there!

THE FURRY FRIEND TAG

Morning campers! For those of you that don't know me - I love dogs! Big, small, fluffy, hairless, any pooch that crossed my path gets inundated with snuggles and fuss. Kieran actually bows his head in embarrassment when I walk past a dog saying hello in a baby voice and completely ignore the owners. However I've never really introduced Archie formally. I found this little tag a while back on Amber Louise's blog and thought it was a little bit of fun...and an excuse to shower love on my little pudding - especially as his days as our only baby are slowly coming to the end.

DEALING WITH THE MUM POLICE: MY FIRST ENCOUNTER

Morning campers! It's been a while - lets try about a month and a bit! Oops!
This is mostly down to my horrendous morning sickness and also because I haven't actually got an efficient white background for photo's and I'm just not happy with any photo's for posts! #BLOGGERPROBS

Today unfortunately my post isn't about exciting new baby stuff or my new favourite nail colour. Today's post is a little bit of a rant after my first encounter with the judgemental Mum police. You know the one's, the one's that enforce their views and look down on you like you are a terrible mother. The one's that judge you when you chose to not breast feed or don't bring your child up in a certain way. Now, I know every Mum runs into these trolls at some point...but I wasn't expecting this before our little shrimp was even born!

Morning campers! We have 2 days until we move house and MY GOD am I missing blogging! Thankfully the lovely Jenny for Born to Blend has tagged me in her Beauty Blogger Award post! EEEK! I love a good tag post! So, on with the show!

THINGS TO THANK YOUR PARENTS FOR...

Parents are odd things. You spend at least 5 years of your life "hating" them and their mission to ruin your life - probably about 10 for mine, sorry about that - but when push comes to shove, they are always there for you. As you may of read, I have found myself in a sticky situation lately - one of which I couldn't of even started to dig out of without the help of my mum and dad. So I started to think about all the things I never thanked them for.

A NEW LOVE FOR LUSH

I have always loved Lush but like most of the Lush lovers out there I rarely ventured outside of the fizzy, sparkly, bubbly bombs and bars. This all changed thanks to a cracking Christmas event at their Sheffield store.

WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS...

I'm a little late to the party on the "what I got for Christmas" front but better late than never!
I just had so many lovely things I couldn't put it ALL into a post and I felt a little mean choosing some presents but not others. But after reading everyone else's it got me so excited...I've changed my mind!

It's the last Sunday of 2015! How is that even possible!

SUNDAY CATCH UP #2: LUSH, IKEA AND A BIG FAT CHILL OUT

Evening guys! I know it's my second post of the day but I couldn't resist a little ramble about my week!

It's that time of the week we all dread when Sunday starts to feel less like the weekend and more like a Monday morning.

It's also the time of the week where I like to have a little catch up of whats been going on this week. As I have a full time job weekdays are usually pretty dull and boring so I tend to skip these but this week I did something fabulous - and on a school night!

SUNDAY CATCHUP #1: CHRISTMAS PREP AND ANNIVERSARY ANTICS

Hey guys! I've seen a lot of bloggers do these kind of posts and thought they were a fun way to ramble on about all the things that aren't substantial enough for a dedicated post of their own. So here goes, my first "this is what I got up to when I wasn't behind a keyboard" post.
These will only really be about my weekend because to be honest my week days are pretty monotonous - usually consisting of finish work, walk dog, make dinner, watch TV, go to bed.

LIVING WITH A BOY (& HOW TO SURVIVE)

As it's mine and Kieran's 2nd Anniversary I thought I would get a little bit soppy and post something relationship'py. Now I'm in no way a relationship expert but I thought I would share my thoughts on living with blokes!

2 years may not seem that long, but in fact for about 90% of these 2 years we have lived together. After 2 months (maybe not even that!) of seeing each other Kieran packed up his one bag and him and his playstation moved in to my little bachelorette pad.

STATIONARY HAUL - PAPERCHASE

This may be a little late off the mark - as everyone has already started their courses in September - but I'm going to be doing a course with work next week so I thought I best stock up on some stationary! And where else is would you go for cracking stationary...Paperchase!

5 THINGS THAT MAKE ME HAPPY

Every now and again, we get so caught up with the ins and outs of life we start to forget the little things that make us smile.

I myself, have been feeling a little lost lately and as a struggler of anxiety, feeling lost tends to send me into a little downward spiral to a place it is hard to crawl out of. This feeling happens a lot more than I would care to admit to anyone but there are a few little things that help me regain a little bit of light in the dark times.

AUTUMN WALKS WITH ARCHIE

You may of heard me mention my little man Archie.

He's my half dachshund/half yorkie pooch - and a professional snuggler and sock stealer.

As Kieran and I work full time we try and give as much time as possible to Archie when we are home - which involves lots of walks in pretty scenery.

As I got myself a fab DSLR camera - a (very) early Christmas present - I've been taking it out with us to test is out and test out my never before tested photography skills.

COSY NEXT HAUL

As the nights are drawing darker and colder there is nothing more satisfying than getting home, shedding your clothes from the long day and snuggling up in your pyjamas.

I probably spend 40% of my life in jammies and can safely say I have a hefty selection.

But like everything lovely in life...a girl needs more!

REVIEW - FIVE GUYS & A HUGE PORTION OF FRIES

If you've been to Sheffield's Meadowhall shopping centre lately, you may of noticed a new food establishment has opened - "Five Guys".

Five Guys, Burgers and Fries is a fast food chain with stores across USA, Canada and UK.

They were founded in 1986 in Virginia, US and have been growing ever since with 33 stores in the UK alone (5 more stores coming soon!) They specialize in DIY burgers, hotdogs  real potato fries and milkshakes.

LIFE UPDATE - BACK TO BLOGGING

As you may have noticed, I've been a tad AWOL lately. I've been in a little bit of a funk. Not just a blogging funk, but a life funk. I've had loads of idea's but just haven't had the time or energy to put everything into effect and onto my little online world.

ARCHIE'S FIRST BARKBEATS BOX

As you may or may not know I have a little ball of fluff in my life, and his name is Archie.

He's one year old and is a Yorkshire terrier/dachshund cross - which basically means he's fluffy with short sausage legs.
